Professional Summary

I was born and raised in Switzerland in the 80s to become what scholars are calling a classical Xennial--I don’t belong to Generation X, with its rather strict work ethics, but I’m also not a hedonistic Millenial. That means I grew up with the rise of the internet. And the internet has made my career possible. I started out building websites in 1999, worked as a University E-Learning Tutor in 2003, and wrote my Master’s Thesis on intrinsic motivation in Online Communities in 2008.

During my studies, I traveled a lot, learned six languages fluently, and worked on making the world a better place by building IT Infrastructure for NGOs. I started my marketing career in 2008 in Bern, Switzerland, working on email marketing and SEO for an online course. In 2011, I joined the wild and crazy Berlin startup ecosystem as a Junior SEM Manager. Over the years, I’ve gotten to know many startups in different stages, worked on two IPOs, and built and managed teams of up to 25 people. 


In 2019, I decided to establish my own company ( Fried Ventures ) so that I can help companies like yours, who want to make their marketing efforts more efficient, or who need to build a marketing strategy from the ground up in the early startup stages. I also became an Angel Investor with my company for early-stage startups that I truly believe in.
